Thompson Turner Construction served as CM At-Risk for the Urban Square parking deck in downtown Florence, SC, delivering a six-story, 250-space precast concrete structure with 23 designated bicycle and e-bike parking spots. Designed by Boudreaux, the garage features a brick façade that complements the surrounding historic streetscape and supports adjacent residential, office, hotel, and mixed-use developments.
The project scope included demolition of existing surface parking, installation of concrete pile foundations, structural framing, construction of elevator and stair towers, utility coordination, lighting, landscaping, and enhancements to the urban streetscape. Thompson Turner collaborated closely with Florence County, the City of Florence, and the Urban Square development team to ensure seamless integration within the broader redevelopment initiative.
