Thompson Turner Construction was contracted to build a 32,000 sq ft manufacturing facility that utilizes multiple caustics and rainwater to create organic fertilizers.
The site is 11 acres with 1 detention pond. It has 10 exterior and five interior raw material storage tanks, and five interior reactors with approximately two miles of process piping, and six miles of electrical wiring connecting over 250 instruments, including valves, flow meters, and temp indicators all run by a remote I/O and PLC system
The structure consisted of precast panels and traditional steel infrastructure. The interior is a mix of process area, warehousing, office, and lab space.
