Thompson Turner Construction was hired by Spartanburg School District 2 to provide CM At-Risk services for the construction of the new Boiling Springs High School, located on a site adjacent to the existing high school. 

About the Project

The project includes a new 320,000 SF, 85-classroom high school and the renovation of the existing high school into the 9th grade academy. 

Highlights of the project include establishing the position of the building in relationship to the site keeping in mind access, connectivity to the existing BSHS and solar orientation, providing a safe and secure setting, enhancing the indoor/outdoor connection, incorporating views and natural daylight throughout the building, and developing a welcoming and clear identity for the site that will be pleasing to the community.
