Thompson Turner Construction was hired by Dorchester Four School District to perform a District-wide Facility study to assess the growing needs regarding its facilities over the next 10 years.

Project Details

Thompson Turner Construction visited and analyzed each individual school site or other facility to develop a forecasted budget for maintenance items, renovations, expansions, or required new construction projects.

As part of this process, interviews with faculty and administration were held while visiting each property. Thompson Turner Construction collaborated with the District for input and feedback as the facility
study evolved. Final deliverables to the District included a written report detailing the physical condition of each property as well as a priority list of needs and associated budget for each item.

As a result of this process, the District chose to move forward with our team on a their capital improvement program which included projects such as track resurfacing, baseball/softball field and
bleachers, new floor, door and window replacement, new lighting systems, secured entryways, parking lot paving, new fencing, and HVAC replacements across numerous facilities within the District.
