Palmetto Lincoln

Featured Image

The team of Thompson Turner Construction and Stubbs Muldrow Herin Architects was hired by the Palmetto Ford to construct their new location for Palmetto Lincoln on Highway 17, known to Charleston locals as the “Auto Mile.”

About the Project

The 5,245 SF structure is a stand-alone Lincoln Vitrine dealership. Vitrine is the French word for a glass display case.

The exterior of each store is defined by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that illuminate the vehicles inside at night. The vehicles will sit on what’s knows as the runway with lights on the ground to better highlight the product. Customers can speak to sales representatives in “pavilions," or intimate rooms with couches, and televisions that replace desks and chairs.
